Wenzheng Du-Assistant Manager

Wenzheng Du was born in Beijing, the capital of People’s Republic of China and grew up in Wuhan by the Yangtze River. She received her B.S and M.S degree in Science and Ph.D. degree in Soil Chemistry at Mizzou. Past 16 years, she has been working for Ameren in IT Development as a Programmer Analyst IV.
Wen joined WeiDance Studio in August, 2014 with passion and a dream she has since she was a little girl. She diligently devotes most of her spare time in learning modernized Chinese folk dance as she really enjoys the music and dance moves instructed by Teacher VV ranging from energetic warm-ups, fun combinations and more advanced performance programs. Wen especially loves music pieces Teacher VV selects with sounding quite dynamic and chic at joyful rhythm. Furthermore, she adores the teacher’s choreography with adapting various modern elements including Jazz moves, modern dance, and ballet training in the teaching. She believes it can further advance dancing skills, techniques and stimulate dancer’s potentials to demonstrate individual beauty at most.
Besides regular dancing practice, Wen is also interested in traveling, sightseeing and spending valuable time with family members as possible. And she is actively involved in local community affairs with serving the Principal of St Louis Modern Chinese School (SLMCS) for two years and Board members of SLMCS for 4 years.
