Rena Huang

Rena began her dance training with Ballet classes and dreamt of becoming a ballerina at a young age.Though not a ballerina after she grew up, dance has always been the favorite of her life!

She graduated with a MS in Library Science and Information Management and has since been a software engineer for Boeing Company.

Rena became one of the first two Wei Dance dancers in 2013, where she has learned and enjoyed fusion dance as a dancer and served as Manager for Wei Dance. Under the direction of Ms. Weiwei, founder/instructor of Wei Dance, Rena specializes in folk styles to the tune of Chinese music, performing outside/inside the realm of ballet and contemporary dance. In the meanwhile, Rena gets a lot of breath training in dance classes and works in the structured breathing pattern that Ms. WeiWei encourages. At Wei Dance, it was like entering a dream world, where Rena could forget all the troubles that she was having and focus on dance combinations and movement phrases for 2 hours in dance class. Much gratitude to Ms. Weiwei for her teaching and curriculum!

For Rena, her dream will continue in the dance world……
